Hi all,
We have a Terminal Server in which our machine Operators work on for their work. We do not allow Internet access on this and they have very limited access to what they're allowed to do and not allowed to do. normally when I create a user to use the terminal server, they don't have access to the Internet. But when I created this new user, they've got access to the internet.
We have it set up so within the Internet options, connection, LAN settings and then the "Proxy Server" is normally greyed out with a proxy address. For this user, it's greyed out but doesn't have a proxy address. When I run IE with administrator rights, then I'm able to go into the proxy and change the Proxy Server. But when it's opened normally, it'll go back to having no Proxy Server.
I've tried to create Group Policy; User Configuration, Windows, Settings, Internet Maintenance and then proxy server to this user but still no luck.
I don't know how it was set-up before though. I've looked in Group Policy with finding nothing.
The Terminal Server is running on Windows Server 2008 R2
Any help ?
Thanks !!
