We currently have a windows 2008 server R2 installed in one of our servers. We are basically using that server for connecting via RDP and its currently in 120 day grace period ( terminal server licensing). This is getting expired in another two days. We currently have only 40 user cal license with us. It seems we require RDS cals to connect via RDP. Currently the licensing server is currently not activated.
My query is will there be any additional grace period once I activate the licensing server, during which I will procure the RDS cals. Or any other way to extend it.
